my mini online shopping nightmare

this must be the season to give birth! my friend is giving birth soon. my sis in law is in her second trimester. and my cat, yuna is having babies too. and not to forget my sister and my mum's friend had given birth quite recently. however im flat broke thanks to my new hobbies ie gardening and online shopping. therefore buying the best pressies is not easy when your budget is limited. i still buy flowers but no longer commit to online shopping. while i think online business is most profitable and am considering of embarking into it, i shan't ever again buy stuffs online unless if they are gadgets or CDs or books from trusted sites like amazon, kinokuniya, yesasia. the clothes and those unique, creative items i would never buy again. so far i get alot of disappointment. one seller sent to me the wrong size. the other one gave a very bad quality product. now, i understand that from the photos it can be deceiving thanks to the lightning etc but when the stuff u send is definitely different from the one in the picture that's just bollocks! still the same kind, color almost but you just know its not the one from the pictures. but i guess they do that. they use other sellers' pictures and try to imitate it. but with awfully disgusting quality. buy of course with the same price. almost. and now the last one i have to deal with.. so strict. very tricky. if you select items from her website. and later on she tells you its not available. instead of getting a refund you have to select another items. now, whos fault is that? and buying above rm100 would entitle you to free postage. thats what she put on her website like its the most ludicrous promotion ever. but it turns out that preorder items and ready stock cant be combined. very tricky dont you think? even the wordings in her t n c are very vague and arguable. one thing i learnt. before you start shopping online read the terms and conditions first. if any clause is not clear you ask the seller first. and ask further about the promotions. see how things can get really tricky. so next time print screen the tnc page before u order. they run the website they can change it whenever it suits them. just checked her website, she just changed the tnc. who knows how many times she has done that from the time i started dealing with her. shes not honest but she does get the items sent. the ready stock items that i have received i'm quite happy with some of the items. some not so much. oh well what to do .. now have to wait for the preorder to be sent to me. no reason to be upset. i made a decision to buy. it didnt go smoothly. i dont like that. but i got to be realistic. shit happens.

the right approach to life

So when I woke up this morning, I found myself smiling. When I was in the shower I was smiling too. Suddenly everything is beautiful. When my roommate asked me for a favour I was smiling too. No more miss insecure. No more negativity. I refuse to allow my animal brain to dominate. I allow my human brain to take control of every situation. I am a neat person. A cool person. A relax person. I smile when I drive and I no longer curse other drivers. I am enjoying every single moment of my life. I perceive everything positively. I affirm myself in the mirror. And I am happy with how I look. I dressed neatly today. I even ironed my baju kurung and wear a new tudung. This is ME with an optimistic view to life. Thanks to the self-help books I have read.

i can't believe it's 2010 already. 1 year away from 2011, the end of the world the mayan tribe predicted. in the bachelor movie, they predicted at the year 2010 the ratio of men and women is 1:4. every one man there's four women. naturally it would give men no excuse to be single lol. in Islam, every man is allowed to have 4 wives. now, i wonder if that's just a coincidence? the number of unmarried women has increased substantially compared to 20 years ago. the reason for this? reasons actually. more working women. many successful single women but most successful men are married. the number of men in the past used to be higher than women that's why most women back then usually got married more than once. well at least once. divorce was a rare case. most of the times their husbands died. at present, if a woman gets to marry once, can we say she's lucky?
certainly not because of the trauma of divorce one would say. someone once said, 'a woman is incomplete until she is married. Then she is finished.' if this saying is true then that woman is lucky isn't it?

LMAO it's near christmas and i unconsciously decided to watch the mysterious movie, the polar express. i saw it's TMO long long time ago when it was first showing in the cinema. i am alone and watching it makes me feel really lonely. =P with the soundtrack and the cold night.
