I had been very busy lately. i barely had enough time to check my email and print lecture notes. i was the public relation committee of the 'in person with Dato' Gopal Sri Ram' programme which was held last tuesday. i was so excited to meet him. it was like a mini tutorial and he pointed to students(audience) to answer questions. it was very motivating and full of energy and of course very inspiring. he is very passionate of law just like the late Prof. Ahmad Ibrahim. when he was asked about his controversial remarks on the quality of local grads, he pointed out that the overseas students are just as bad as the local ones. he wants the quality of the local grads to be better than that of the overseas grads.
during the event, i played the minor role of door girl lol. i opened the door for him and the other VIPs during his grand entrance and exit. when he was leaving the auditorium, i opened the door for him and he unexpectedly asked me a few questions about myself. i was so thrilled having the chance to talk to him even though it was more of like exchanging pleasantries. everything went smoothly that night and so was the post mortem session. i wonder if there's any article about it since there were reporters present.
Allen Glenhill once told him that, "You can't remember things that you don't know".. which is very true indeed. if you can't remember something that means you don't know.
